Earl Grey Tea 豪門伯爵紅茶

Twinings Tea is the home of Earl Grey. The story goes that Earl Grey, the British prime minister, was given cases of this tea by a Chinese Mandarin. He liked it so mush he brought it home and asked Twinings to recreate it for him. The Twinings Earl Grey Tea is light, fragrant and has a distinctive bergamot flavour.

 

    

Use 1 tea bag per cup and add 200ml boiling water .

 

 

   

Brew for 3 or 4 minutes . 

 

Royal Specials

 

Ingredients

● 1 teatbag of Twinings Earl Grey Tea

● Rum 200cc

● Orange juice 1oz

● Rose syrup 1/2 oz

● Lemon wedge X 1

● Lemon juice 1/3 oz

● Orange peel

 

Method

1.Brew Twinings Earl Grey teabag with 200cc Rum for 1 day. Pour out 1.5oz for use

2.Put 1oz orange juice, 1/5 oz rose syrup, 1/3oz lemon juice and lemon wedge into shaker. 

3.Shake well and put in a martini glass. Garnish with orange peel



 

 

Royal Knight

 

Ingredients

● 1 teabag of Twinings Earl Grey Tea

● Lemon juice 15ml

● Red wine vinegar or fruit vinegar 10ml

● Asparagus juice 10ml

● Syrup 20ml

● Soda water

 

Method

● Brew Twinings Earl Grey Tea with 90cc boil water. Leave to cool down.

● Put the tea, lemon juice, vinegar, syrup and juce into shaker. Shake well and decant into a glass

● Top up with soda water



 

 

The Earl Grey Waltz

 

Ingredients

● Twinings Earl Grey teabag X 2

● Soy bean milk foam

● Fresh butter 10ml

● Osmanthus (Sweet Olive) syrup 20ml

 

Method

1.Brew Earl Grey tea with 100cc hot water. Add osmanthus syrup.

2.Add the mixture of soy bean milk foam and butter

3.Add a touch of osmanthu



 

 

The Strawberry Blossom

 

Ingredients

● Twinings Earl Grey Tea 30ml

● Twinings Strawberry & Mango 60ml

● Rose syrup 15ml

● Fresh pineapple 1/8 pcs (approx 130g)

 

Garnish

● Seaweed powder

● Fresh strawberry

● Pineapple leave

 

Method

1. Brew 2 bags of Twinings Strawberry & Mango in 150ml of hot water for 5 minutes. Leave to cool and pour out 60ml for use

2. Brew 1 bag of Twinings Earl Grey in 80ml of hot water for 3 minutes. Leave to cool and pour out 30ml for use

3. Smear seaweed powder on the surface of the glass [ along the rim ]. Leave cool in a fridge.

4. Crush the pineapple in a shaker. Pour in the teas and other ingredients

5. Add ice and shake well. Pour content into a glass. Garnish and Serve



 

 

Party whisper

 

Ingredients

● Twinings Earl Grey Tea 90ml

● Fresh Strawberry Puree 40ml

● Fresh Raspberry Puree 20ml

● Home made heather honey 20ml

● Fresh egg white 15ml

 

Garnish

● Caramel flakes

● Lemon moose

● Chopped nuts

● Raspberry powder

● Edible garnishing flower

 

Method

1.Brew 2 teabags of Twinings Earl Grey with 150ml boiled water. Settle for 3 minutes and discard the teabags. After cooling pour out 90ml for use. 

2.Put the tea, purees and heather honey into a shaker. Adjust taste and  add the egg white.

3.Dry shake until well mixed and whipping egg whites into the perfect airy foam.
Top up with ice to 80% filled.  Shake again.

4.Filter and pour content into a champagne coupe. Spinkle caramel flakes, lemon moose and chopped nuts. Garnishwith flower.



 

 

Contessa

 

Ingredients

● 2 teabags of Twinings Earl Grey Tea

● Longan Syrup 20ml

● Raspberry jam 20ml

● Dark chocolate syrup 10ml

Remark: Longan syrup can be substituted by ordinary honey

 

Method

1. Steep 2 teabags of Twinings Earl Grey Tea in 150ml of hot water for 4 minutes. Leave to cool and pour out 100ml for use.

2. Put all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well and pour out content with a filter in a glass. Garnish and serve.
